So the theory test is changing but at the moment has been put on hold due to the lockdown that we have in the UK at the moment.
So why is test changing? The main reason is to make it more accessible to more people giving more equality. From people with learning difficulties. To people with dyslexia and other things like autism.
This gives everybody the same chance of passing your theory test instead of the long case study that you have to read and then answer questions on.
You still get the 50 questions and get 43 out of the 50 to pass
Now the new bit is watching a video and answering the question on this video which are on the right side of the video. If you are unsure about it you can role the video again stop at points you want to help you with that question.
The hazard perception is not changing as there is no written in this and the pass mark is still the same.
So below you can see an example question from the new theory test.
