Or the website address is https://www.gov.uk/find-driving-schools-and-lessons   You can then search their name and see if they on the Approved driving instructor register.

Some things that can help you find out if the driving instructor is legal. They should have a green or pink badge with the picture facing into the car. Have a look they may try and forge that too. If it is a pink badge they are trainee instructors and have to advise you of this but can still charge you. If it is a green badge then this person is a full qualified driving instructor.
